Grove City's Arts in the Alley festival traditionally serves as an end-of-the-summer event.

Between 25,000 and 30,000 people nourish the festival each yr, Conrad said, and more than 100 artists participate.

Artists and vendors will exist able to apply to participate right up to the Nov. 14 offset of the virtual event, Conrad said.

Times and performers are being finalized, but the goal is to include the marching bands and show choirs from Grove City schools, she said.
Despite being a virtual event, Arts in the Alley again will begin with the Customs Parade, which is co-sponsored past the Grove City Girls Club.
"Instead of one big parade post-obit one specific route, nosotros will be dividing the units -- the marching bands, local service organizations, showtime responders and so on -- into most six 'pocket parades,' each of which will feature 10 to 12 units each," Conrad said.

Participants may work on their chalk drawings for the seven weeks leading up to Nov. 14, she said.
Chalk Art Claiming awards will be presented during the festival'due south virtual awards ceremony, Conrad said.
Local service organizations typically operate nutrient booths at Arts in the Alley as a fundraiser.
"Since we can't take food vendors this year, we will put data about and a link to the dissimilar organizations and encourage people to back up them with donations in the program guide we'll mail service on the Arts in the Alley website," Reiner said.
